FEBRUARY 2011

Bolt was awarded a design build project by TKDA at Minneapolis Saint Paul International Airport. The project consists of adding on 20 additional hydrant fueling pits in support of gate modifications for Delta Airlines. Project is scheduled for completion in July 2011.

 

OCTOBER 2010

On Oct. 1 Bolt was awarded a project at Tinker AFB Oklahoma. This design build project will include fabrication and installation of the JP-8 fuel system for a T-9 style jet engine testing facility. Bolt will be providing all fuel tanks, meters, pumps, control valves, isolation valves, filter vessels, fabrication of looped piping system, testing, startup and commissioning. Project is scheduled for completion in August 2011. Bolt will be working with Downey Contracting, LLc. Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


AUGUST 2010

Bolt was awarded a project at the Dulles International Airport for the installation of a single hydrant fueling pit located on C Concourse. Installation of the pit shall be completed without interruption to normal airport fueling operations. This project requires fabrication and testing of the new lateral, removal of the existing apron pavement, excavation to proposed tie-in point, in-service fabrication of a weld-o-let to jet fuel main, in-service observation of tie-in welds backfill and replacement of apron pavement and flushing per ATA 103.


May 2010

Bolt Construction has been issued a change order by Pond Constructors to complete additional pipe support upgrades at PAX River Naval Facilities in Maryland.

Bolt Construction, Inc. has been awarded a contract with Buckeye Terminals to upgrade its diesel additive systems in Buffalo, New York. Project includes installation of shop fabricated tanks, new suction and fill piping, pipe supports, concrete tank foundations, and additive injection for red dye, lubricity and cold flow additives.


August/September 2009

Bolt Construction, Inc. has received a contract from DHL to relocate glycol equipment from Wilmington , Ohio Hub to its Cincinnati Hub in Erlanger Kentucky. Bolt will relocate (3) above ground storage tanks, control skid and pumps and supply a new shop fabricated tank for sump collection.

Bolt Construction, Inc. was recently awarded a contract by the Charleston County Aviation Authority to complete improvements to the existing fuel farm at the Charleston International Airport. Bolt Construction will be the general contractor for the addition of (1) one 8,000 bbl tank, painting of the existing tanks and fuel piping, piling, dike liner, electrical, controls, and cathodic protection. Bolt Construction's mechanical work includes installing underground double wall pipe to replace the existing piping to the truck islands and to provide a new hydrant fueling line.

Mechanical work also includes (2) pumps, (2) filter separators, control valves, piping and equipment for a new pump pad. New tank suction, fill and foam piping will be installed along with a floating suction for new tank. Bolt Construction will perform concrete demolition and replacement, tank foundation construction, site work, and utilities. Bolt will complete all necessary testing, flushing, startup, and commissioning of new fuel system componets per project specifications.


June/July 2009

Bolt Construction has been awarded a contract to complete a recommissioning project for DHL at its Cincinnati Hub in Erlanger, Kentucky. Bolt's work scope includes flushing dormant 14" transfer pipeline, equipment and valve reinstallation, and startup of existing dormant truck loading facility.

Bolt has received a contract from Pond Constructors to complete repairs to an existing fueling storage system at the PAX River Naval Air Station in Maryland. Bolt will be installing new stainless steel piping, valves, equipment, tank repairs, and pipe supports to complete project.


April/May 2009

Bolt Construction has been awarded a contract to modify the existing Jet Fuel Hydrant Loop at the Miami International Airport in South Florida. This project modifies the existing system to allow new 24" x 20" double wall transmission lines to be connected to the existing hydrant loop system. Bolt will all be responsible for pressure testing and flushing new piping to ATA 103 specifications.
