November/December 2007

Bolt Construction has been awarded a contract to modify the existing Jet Fuel Hydrant Loop at the Dulles International Airport in northern Virginia. This project modifies the existing system to allow for an underground tunnel to be installed.


September/October 2007

Bolt Construction was recently awarded Project F-07 for the new Indianapolis International Airport Fuel Farm. Bolt will service as general contractor for this package which includes all new 20” suction, 16” flushing return, and 10” recirculation and fill piping to three 15,000BBL tanks. Project includes installation of (3) underground tanks and (2) above ground storage tanks with associated pumps and piping. Bolt will also supply and install new fueling equipment for (2) truck loading stations, (3) offloading stations, (4) hydrant issue pumps, and filtration equipment for inbound and outbound flow. Bolt will also complete all pneumatic, hydrotesting, and flushing of the entire fuel system at the New Indianapolis Airport per project specifications, B31.3 and ATA 103.


May 2007

Bolt Construction, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract for work associated with the new Midfield Terminal at Indianapolis. This project “Transfer Fuel Lines” will bridge the gap between the Midfield Terminal hydrant system and new tank farm being constructed. Project includes installing 11,000 lineal feet of dual 16” diameter fuel transfer lines, high point vents and low point drains. Due to the location being within an existing International Airport it presents logistical issues that must be continually monitored.


April 2007

Bolt Construction, Inc. has been awarded a subcontract to complete work associated with the Fed Ex Cargo Apron Expansion Project – Phase 2 located at their Indianapolis Indiana facilities. This project is an extension of an existing jet fuel hydrant system located on their new Aircraft Parking Apron. Included in with this project is the fabrication and installation of double wall containment piping, jet fueling hydrant pits, high point vents and low point drains. This project is on target to be completed prior to its projected completion date and under budget.


2007

Bolt Construction, Inc. continues to work with the Marathon Petroleum Company in their efforts to expand ethanol capabilities / availability through out their system.
